Visual Expression ( War of Shapes - Abstract Art)
The war is basically between Spotify and Apple Music, two music streaming giants.
I gave better weaponry to Spotify since I prefer the larger library of songs available and the annual Spotify Wrapped! The background for Spotify is free-flowing which is in contrast with the stark boxes for Apple Music that fits their logo.
There really isn’t a clear winner here since it mostly boils down to personal preference. Spotify has a larger catalogue of music while Apple Music provides slightly better sound quality.
An argument can be made that Spotify is a better option than Apple Music since it’s free, albeit ridden with ads which have become more intrusive, not to mention the annoying lack of essential features like shuffling and the ability to go back and forth in time for songs.

History of Arts ( Object as an Art)
Symbolism is when you see an object or specific thing and see a deeper meaning. You see it represent something else entirely, it could be an abstract idea.
To stomp on glasses can be depicted to represent a literal meaning of taking away someone’s vision. But on a deeper level, vision could be an idea brewing up in someone’s head waiting to be turned into something tangent (real).
What’s a computer if it’s not connected to the internet (source of knowledge)? What’s a man without concrete ideas he’s working towards to bring them to life?
Rain depicts a cyclical nature of things. Scientifically, condensation occurs in clouds, it rains, water goes to lakes and rivers, evaporates and forms clouds in the sky. So does stomping on someone’s glasses (read: vision) hinder his ability to bring forth a novel thing into the real world. The cycle goes on.

Color Theory (Mixed Media - Abstract Art)
My theme was happiness so I used warm colors here like yellow and red to display energy and a cool color (blue) to show calmness, like the ocean. I found myself using markers and soft pastels for a soft look for my abstract art.

History of Arts (Realism)
I have picked one of the more iconic realism painting, Girl with a Pearl Earring by Johannes Vermeer. The immediate detail I can make out is the subtle expression on her face, turned softly to the left towards the observer. Her eyes don’t seem to be particularly set on anything. It’s almost as if she’s looking behind the observer of the painting, towards the far horizon.
The prominent colors here are yellow, brown, and blue. Johannes worked with these colors the most here in this artwork. You can see the way he uses shades of yellow to get brown and use them as shadows and showcase wrinkles on her clothes. Tint of yellow works well here to highlight parts of her clothed hat.
Blue is almost complementary in this case where it’s mainly used for her hat. Same principles of using shades and tints apply here to mimic shadows and highlights.
The choice of an ordinary girl as the subject is honestly brilliant if you think about it. The artist shows that to convey something beautiful and somber, you need neither the grandeur of a king or a queen, nor the valor of a warrior or soldier to bring out emotion.
